Standard ISO & IEC 17025 sets the requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This standard is being used as the main requirement for laboratory accreditation and is recognized worldwide. Accreditation has been the way for testing and calibration laboratories to demonstrate that they are competent in carrying out tasks subjected to the scrutiny of the accreditation body.

This course is designed to give participants a broad understanding of the laboratory’s accreditation standard ISO & IEC 17025:2017 and requirements in Structural, Process, Resources, Management, and Technical parts. Participants are expected to be able to understand the scopes and requirements of ISO & IEC 17025:2017, the principles of ISO/IEC Guide 98-4 in reporting statement of conformity, and important items and actions required in implementing the standard.
